-Seniors 2013 and DPTO will be selling food and drinks that evening, so please plan to arrive early. Traffic tends to be especially hectic this time of year, so please plan accordingly.

THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROSITY - On behalf of our support personnel, THANKS TO OUR PARENTS AND STUDENTS for everything that was sent for the baskets. The result was an abundance of goods that were very much appreciated by our personnel.  Thanks for your generosity.

Thursday; we will review all the content seen last week to be ready for the test (Chapter 9).

-Make Christmas 2012 special for a child
Thank you very much for the Christmas Gift that you brought for our friends from Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH).

-Christmas is the season to open our hearts and share with those around us that need it most. It has been a tradition at Discovery School for students to come together and contribute in assembling baskets of goods for our support personnel.  We are asking for your cooperation in sending the following:
6th grade students      1 5-lb bag of beans
Please feel free to send any additional goodies that you want to share with our devoted staff, such as canned goods, instant soups, cookies and crackers, or anything else that does not require refrigeration.  Please send these items no later than Friday, December 14th. Your participation will be deeply appreciated.

 -The Discovery School Song Fest (to be held on Tuesday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m.)  is around the corner!   The children will sing and dance beautiful Disney or famous movie themes.
SIXTH GRADE  - Will sing Hakuna Matata from the movie “The Lion King”. Students need to dress up as one of the movie characters (as it has already been assigned in class).
